I dont think requirements changed. biggest obstacle is french. without french difficult to find a job. I moved out of quebec cause of french after education. cant sustain without job.Georgesand said:Is it new rules or anything? How can I read more about this?

thats not the problem. problem is staying in quebec without job till u get PR. For job u need to speak french most of the time. so on top of experience u also need french which makes finding job difficult. but if ur rich and can stay without job in quebec after education then PR is the fastest. normally takes around 1 to 1.5 years.Georgesand said:Thank you Mead. Did you try to learn French?mead said:I dont think requirements changed. biggest obstacle is french. without french difficult to find a job. I moved out of quebec cause of french after education. cant sustain without job.

I tried to study french. before you can get B2 it will take you 1.5-3 yrs for those who are not natural franchophone speaker.Sarbi said:1) French is required but not for survival..English is accepted everywhere...there are lots of job u can easily do without speaking French..just tell them you r English and everything is fine..
2) To obtain B2 Level in French there is no need to go for any specific test..you can get B2 level certification from universities..That is simple enough...
You can take French courses at Concordia university.. McGill..
Even due to huge immigration of students many colleges are providing French courses..
