We sent you a letter on May 27, 2016. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us

On May 26 received an e-mail for interview on the letter already gave date and time for interview June 19 at Dhaka Canadian HC and ask for confirmation by e-mail to reply them.

What could be sending a letter May 27.

Remember me ??? i am still waiting for ppr documents was sent on dec 24.i am july 14 applicant i was very happy and energetic when this forum starts but right now i am assuming in my case where is new process bcoz its been 11 months now to apply.what should i do now any suggestion ???? my lawyer email once to lvo they did not reply after sending additional documents no news yet since 5 months.i ask my lawyer for GCMS but he is saying we have to wait if lvo give any update we will inform you.what you think about it reply plzzz.

Yes I do remember you haq, 11 months is are not bad compared to other people I see on this thread. You know you can handle your application without a lawyer? They just take your money for nothing and most of the time they don't know what they are doing since they have so many customers. Yes you can request your GCMS notes after every 3 months to keep track of your file. You have people here on the forum who can assist you for free to check those NOTES if you don't understand them at all.

Normally when they ask for DNA test , if DNA test is proof that you are father , in many cases they approve
i also did DNA in last May 2015 and its proof that i am father but still they put me on interview ,and now
i am waiting for my interview .

You have interview after the DNA because there was misunderstanding between you and your wife. Thats one of the reasons but in most of the cases after DNA the interview is waved...it depends on case and the immigration officer.

As I already advised you that my re-medical was done on 12-May-2016. We were in contact with our MP and yesterday, MP office send an email to my wife as below.

" I spoke to immigration yesterday about your husband's application. I was told that the background security check is now in progress. That's good as it is the most time consuming process. Furthermore, the 'new' medical results will be valid until May-2017. And there is currently no outstanding document from the applicant. So it looks like he has to wait for the next instructions. if you do not have any news by mid October 2016, you may contact us for assistance. I trust this information is useful to you."

Need your views on above email received from our MP. Do you think that it is a positive signal?
Do you have any ides about background security check, I mean what they check? How much estimated time they can further take?

This is a good sign, just need to complete the background checks to finalize your file, expect the passport request in the next couple of months. A girl on another thread had an interview, was approved and had to wait for instruction. After the remedical (three weeks after interview) they sent passport request, took about 6-8 weeks to be returned because they were completing background checks.

I don't know why your MP wants you to go see him since you can do things by phone or email. Maybe the of your Area works like that. I don't know what to say on this honestly speaking.

Expect PPR between 6-8 weeks after you did your medical exams

Do you have any idea about the difference between Routine Background checks and background security checks.!!

Previously, MP advised that my file was under routine background checks and now after re-medical, MP advised that our file is under background security checks.

I answered this on your post under the dr thread... However I might be wrong!

I would think the background checks would be about the applicants life, relationship info, work info, etc. Security checks would be confirming they are still eligible and not committed any sort of crime since applying?? I'm not 100% sure, but it takes about 4-6 weeks after remedical request to get the passport request.
