Ok, so, I am super confused about landing at Peace Bridge

Hello, I am going to and at Peace Bridge tomorrow.
Since I am a US Citizen, do I still get the admin. refusal or can I just cross, turn around in Buffalo and re-enter?
I don't know why, but I am really nervous about having an administrative refusal on my name. I really don't want to do that.

So, yeah.

1. Can I just totally cross the US border, turn around in Buffalo, and re-enter into Canada to land?
2. Do I HAVE to get an admin. refusal? (I am a US Citizen)

2. No, because you have a U.S. Passport.

Being turned around (admin. refusal) does NOT mean what you think it means. It is NOT going to be a black mark on your `record' at all.

You're an American, you can just go through no problem, no need to ask for admin refusal though that is no big deal. When we went through I just said we would like to go around to the Canadian side. They took a glance at our passports and waved us through (I'm the Canadian). No admin refusal needed. In your case, going alone as an American you should have no problem at all.

The point is...you don't have to actually enter the U.S. at all!

If you don't want to keep your hubby waiting in the car, just ask for the AR!
