Hi all,

I recently made my EE profile and have a score of above 400. I haven't received any OINP PT NOTIFICATION as yet. When do they issue that? Are they issuing any notification recently or is it closed these days?

Ontario is closed at this time and is not issuing nominations.

I do not see any official news with date published in the OINP website

There is no "official November 16th announcement". The guy posting that "news" earlier is talking nonsense.

May 09, 2016 – As a result of changes Ontario has made to more closely align the streams of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)

Ontario anticipates that it will receive its 2017 nomination allocation from the federal government before the end of November 2016, and the province expects to be in a position to accept applications for some streams in six months.

Unfortunately no one knows when Ontario will start to issues PTs again... Mid Nov was anyone's guess when they'd stoped mid feb'2016... Fact is they still have LOTS (over 50%) of Nominations to issue from all their previous PTs (yes backlog is still large) so it's unlikely they'll open anytime soon.

Recent time lines have been quite drastic as people who applied for OINP in Oct 2015 are still waiting for a nomination... so you're looking at over 18 months total time until they land (and that's if the federal process takes around 6 months).

Furthermore, there is no guarantee that Ontario will keep the same criteria, that is, issue PT to people with CRS 400+... We'll probably see an increase in that given they were flooded with applications last year.

Sorry for the bleak outlook but that's how it is today!
