ALL THE BEST TO FELLOW APPLICANTS HOPE TO SEE SOME CORRESPONDENCE FOR JAN APPS ATLEAST DURING MID WEEK

Yes we should get additional docs request from this week or next week followed by nominations, i also assume many will get nominations without any additional document request.

Yeah its our time now, sit back and relax, also start preparing for your POF, PCC and all.

PCC should be made ONLY after you get ITA, otherwise its not valid... (Unless its a old residence country and you are not travelling there anytime soon)

PCC can be made once you get decision mail cause it does take 15 days and that would save lot of time, also PCC is valid for 6 months, in fact once nominated should also book medical appointments as i see its taking 2 weeks for that too(depending on location), it will expedite the process.

can you please refrain from asking the same question on multiple platforms ? its a little annoying :)

you need to apply for jobs in toronto, thats what they are asking apparently... even though there is a better chance of lightning striking you than you getting a job this way, but they have been asking for this.
i would suggest you apply for like 10 jobs a week in your field..

incase there is any other suggestions from others - please feel free to add on

Incorrect. PCC for the current country of residence can be obtained anytime in the 6 months preceding the date of application. It doesn't necessarily have to be after ITA.

Medicals test should be done as late as possible IMO because this would give you plenty of landing time.

I'm FSW outland and have been asked for additional docs going back 11 years.

This is a good news that they have started January applications but at the same time isn't it bit strange that they have asked directly 21st Jan application for additional documents.

Does this mean that the earlier don't require any documents or they have started random?

It has been random since the beginning of 2016 from my observation. You can probably take a look at the November list to see how random the decisions are.

Dear Seniors,

I have just started on my new job , and since it's so close to our NOM now, do I need to notify OINP?

I think that since I have just passed the 2-yr mark with my previous job, this new job wouldn't affect my score right away, so there is no need for me to Notify OINP at this stage, unless they asked for it?

Nooooooooo....that would be unfair...they should finish 2016 applications first and thn start with refugee...we are waiting since a year almost
it is maybe unfair for the refugees who might be dead to wait... i think that we have to respect humanitarian priorities. it s so bad for us to wait for almost a year now... but.. let s be positive and hope that everybody receives a good answer on time.
any news guys? anyone called or wrote and had answer
FSW i mean :) cause the CEC we know you gonna get it , you are allready there hahaha

Ontario provincial programm is not the same as Federal decision to settle in refugees.
I do not know how they exactly proceed, but I would assume, that they distribute them all over all provinces and not just Ontario.
Furthermore this is not bigger amount than what was managed in last 2 years 2016 and 2017.

So unless they will just borrow people from this province immigration, it should not be slower than it already is.

Part of the reasons for current delays is the fact that Ontario got way too many application in the short amount of time. That plus waiting for the yearly qouta for economic immigrants, that was lower than expected made it so slow.
Anyway, they are already using 2017 quota for current PNP. So that alone can tell that it will take some time before they will reopen main PNP streams.

You should notify that you have left current job.

It is not mandatory to notify about your new job.

Hi

Yesterday I was filling a new EE profile ( mine is going to expire in November, I applied to PNP on Jan 07, they have requested me extra docs this week) and I realized I worked from 11/2013 to 11/2014 in Canada, so it will complete 3 years next month , will I lose 40 points regarding to the Canadian experience ? I currently have 437 in this case will I be disqualified? Please let me know how they count the experience
Thanks

Do following:
1. Make new EE profile and activate it (attention except of your new IELTS it should have the same history)
2. Notify Ontario about it saying that you passed new test but were too late to update your profile.
And thats it. Usually they are prompt with updating new EE in your documents.
You shall be OK with that.
