I received my AOR today morning. But i would need to resubmit the bank draft as the original one has become out of date for them, post that only they will move my application to the next phase.

In the AOR, they have mentioned to continue to maintain the score of 400 throughout but as mentioned in one of my earlier posts, my points will come down by 5 points (398)in the month of August due to age. Now, I am really worried as I am not sure, if after re-submitting the draft (and spending for processing fees), i will be still eligible for a nomination? :-\. Any suggestions/advice along this line?

Can we somehow ask the bank to increase DD validity before it expires?

Don't even get my started on the Bank Draft Validity. I sent a Canadian Bank Draft from Ireland. Irish Bank Drafts don't ever expire, I still got a new one issued as OINP won't accept it after 6 month apparently and I resubmitted my application so can't give them any excuse to refuse it now.
The bank had to BUY back the 1st Draft...at a terrible exchange rate and sell me a new draft.
So to get a current bank draft cost me over C$150.....all because OINP are slow.....grrrr.

"CRS points reduction as a result of increase in age" is the only exceptional scenario considered by OINP and IRCC. So you should be fine with it. Your age on the date of application submission is what is locked in their system

OINP has previously told applicants that getting below 400crs due to age will be taken into consideration and does not automatically lead to disqualification, as all other reasons. So you should have hope. However, if you have any means of increasing your score, I would advise you to do so.. Just to be sure.

I am also @ 398...you are fine even if you lost points due to age.

There's an public policy that applies. I have raised this query and received the below reply from MCIIT:

"A candidate who reports an age difference between the time they receive a Notification of Interest (NOI) from OINP and the time a decision is to be made by OINP officers for their application could lose CRS points that had been awarded to them for their age and for FSW points, which are criteria under the Human Capital Priorities Stream of our program, and those are the criteria under which applications under this stream are assessed. In that circumstance, an applicant will not be automatically disqualified for nomination. OINP will take into consideration the age changed after NOI by using the age at NOI as our parameter for assessment, but at the same time, applicants must continue qualifying under all other criteria"

@All: Thank you for your inputs/advice/suggestions... it really helps.. the only way to increase the points now is to reappear for IELTS and try and get a better score which anyways will take another 2 months or so... earliest date available for the test is August... :

No banking insturment is valid after 6 months after this bank has to revalidate it which is only possible with the original instrument provided.
