so i got bad news for myself atleast.
i checked with the bank and they told me that the Demand Draft is only good for 6 months.
and my DD was made on 15/12/2015. so now its been more than 6 months.

what am i supposed to do in this case? please guide me i am so confused.

You still have 20+ days. Nothing else can do except waiting.

One january applicant Amaiyar has told that his DD has been encashed last week, whereas his application receipt date is 28th January.

the thing is my bank dont even know if it was encashed or not.

Guys, I haven't been too active here. I found out last week that CIC has encashed my DD. I haven't received any AOR yet. I got PT notification on Jan 14th and my application was received by Jan 28th.

Any idea how long it takes to get AOR after DD is encashed?

Don't worry. In case the DD expires by the time officials open your application, they will notify you to send them a new DD. Until then, your application will be on hold. They will not reject the application as it is not your fault. I was told this by the operator when I had called them to inquire the same.

Hello all,

I have received the Letter of Interest on Dec 27th 2015 however sent the documents in the Jan 3rd week of jan and the documents were collected by OINP on 26th Jan 2016.

Like many even I am waiting for the AOR.

Please let me know whom to contact to know the status of my application as I have sent an email to ontarioimmigration@ontario.ca on May 17th but didn't receive a response from them yet.

Any help will be much appreciated....

You can send an email to ExpressEntry@ontario.ca. stating that your work permit is expiring soon. They will update you. You can give a try atleast.
