On the question whether we should withdraw old profile before it expires, I got to speak to an officer who advised to do the same in order to save time. So I am pretty sure, it is the right way to go ahead. and being Pro-Active.

All we need to do is to be sure to do it the right way!

I have to do the same for my express entry profile as it expires on the 13th it seems and I am wondering if Ontario would ask why I withdrew it and re created a new one as opposed to waiting for it to expire ? When I send them the new express entry info , what do I put in the title of the email ?

Hi Guys,

I just called OINP about my file. I was told my file is still with an investigator Analyst. She also said they are trying to complete all the files by the end of this year but not guaranteed.

In my case I have one more step approval from a senior officer I don't think I will get it by the end of this year. I am frustrated and losing hope. My work permit is expired. Extension for work permit got rejected and my Express entry profile expires in 2 days.

Hi,

My profile is going to expire on the 11th of december and I am torn because I don't know if there are any implications if I withdraw my application now and re-create a new one? Does anybody know this and faced a similar situation?
The two options I have:
1. Wait until 11th, recreate one in the same day--wait 24h for job bank validation, while informing OINP to put the points on the new profile---hoping that everything is ready until the 14th
2. Withdraw my application now and recreate one now in order to have a buffer of 2 days(more safe)
I really want my profile to be ready until the 14th when there is a real possibility for a draw.

Any thoughts? Does OINP have anything against withdrawing an application in order to re-create a new one?...

I am in the same situation. Try to call OINP but no one picks up the phone. My profile will expire on Dec 13 and I don't want to miss Dec 14 draw as well.

Is there anyone with nomination withdraw the profile before it expires and is successfully transferred nomination to the new profile? Please advise us.

My Jan colleague got a NoM on the 3rd and his profile expired on the 5th... He emails all the info regarding his new profile to OINP on the 5th and still nothing... he's been waiting around for a week and they've not yet attached his nom to his new profile.

Based on that I doubt you'll have any luck with them attaching it before the 13th... But you can sure try! The problem is if the draw happens on the 12th this time round as some think it might!

@mdm_canada - you may as well re create now as your profile will expire before the 12th anyway.

Hi...I got a mail from oinp..I had closed my 3 FD and the amount was credited to my saving account...amount is more than a lakh...now they want reason for these deposits...I had mentioned FD number and statement showing repayment credit...I guess they didn't understand re payment credit..now how do I prove it?

I'll ask the same question which everyone has been asking around and need some advice, got the nomination..points are added too, now the profile expires on 12th, given there could be a draw around 12th, should I wait to let it expire? or create new one? Even if i create a new one they will take few days to link it.

Absolutely! We were unable to get through to anyone too.....just goes to voicemail
