I have been told both yes and no in answer to this question, so I would also like to hear others' opinions.

In the past people applied with nominations but right now I guess they are asking for eAOR and R10 approval

So guys I am so excited if this is true..

Here's the thing..

I spoke to CIC and they said yes you can get a Work Permit

BUT this is not a Bridging Work permit I am talking about or an Open Work permit

This is a closed work permit for a specific employer

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/opinion/territories-provinces.asp

3 conditions are to be met for this work permit

Offer of Employment
Nomination Certificate
Support letter from the province

Its not a straight forward process.

The thing is that it states on OINP's website that they have stopped issuing support letters BUT only for open work permit
Also I am not sure if the work permit can be applied for a nominated candidate under Human Capital Priorities Stream as it does not require a job offer.
Finding an employer who will offer you job knowing that they will have to wait for the candidate to obtain the work permit is going to be far from simple

I am very unsure of what is true.

Does any one have more info/knowledge?

Has anyone experienced this?

This is only for the regular, non-express entry streams. If you are applying through express entry, you are expected to use the BOWP process.
