Express Entry – Human Capital Priorities Notification of Interest

Please be advised that the OINP has commenced issuing NOIs under the HCP stream. Following the issuance of NOIs, the OINP will post on its website a program update informing stakeholders of the methodology used to issue NOIs.

The results of yesterday’s round are as follows:

Number of invitations issued: 330
Date and time of portal search: January 19, 2018 at 3:00 EST
CRS score range: 440 to 446
Date Express Entry profile submitted: January 1, 2018 to January 19, 2018

The OINP is managing the volume of applications to the HCP stream at this time. The OINP will be issuing NOIs on a regular basis to applicants, who at minimum, have a CRS of 400 and meet all eligibility criteria.

A. The OINP has resumed issuing Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to a targeted number of applicants who qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream. CRS 422. Just went ahead and recreated my EE profile just now. Thanks!

I recreated mine Friday I'm hopeful because selecting candidates with CRS above 440 is not a sustainable plan by oinp so I'm hopeful that good sense will prevail and they start issuing NOI to candidates with CRS 400 and above !

If such draws with higher CRS continues by OINP,It is no doubt that in future Federal Draws may go lower than OINP.

This is not interesting , as the people above 440 will get ITA directly very soon, OINP will have to target below CRS and not sure why they are not interested in people who have submitted profile earlier .

Hello - It does not say, "Profiles created after 1st will be considered". It is just giving the details how they picked for this round; it is not necessary they will always look for profiles created after 1st of Jan.

ok hello, I agree that it doesn't exactly mention that and it also doesn't mention that it will consider 2017 profiles. If the chances are more if u recreate a profile, then why not recreate it. It only take few minutes and there is nothing you are gonna lose.

lowest score of last EE round of invitation was 446, so apparently they had a specific number of NOI to send this round and they took everyone under the 446 threshold.
if they continue like this there is noway it will reach us at the 410 points.
time to retake french and get a higher grade.

Looks like Ontario is targeting scapegoats to get some easy money. Anyone with 440+ CRS would wait for direct ITA in next few draws rather than going with PNP nomination. Only newbies who don't know much about the system will fall for this trap. Very unethical practice from Ontario. Shame on them.

Update:
Or may be they are going to try a new strategy this time.. Probably they will reduce few points on every draw and send invites. For example, If next EE draw lowest CRS is 430, then Ontario might send invites to all those who have CRS 425 and above .. and so on...
