Hello,
We received NOI yesterday 10th of July and I am in process of collecting documents for application submission.
I have a quick question, My spouse is the primary applicant on our EE profile, she has worked from 2011 May to 2014 Dec and has been been un-employed from taking care of our Kid. Do you think this will impact my ONIP application?
Is it fine if I provide letter of explanation?

Thanks.
Congrats on receiving the NOI :)

It will not be an issue as her experience is within the last 5 years.

Best of luck

Copy the text to Microsoft Word. Make sure you copy the NOI Received Date as well.

In Word -> File -> Save As -> File Type -> .PDF

Hello Members,

I am in the process of collecting documents and I have some queries that needs addressing from your experience.

  • My job covers two NOC's 2281,2282 . Let's say if my rolesand responsibilities cover 6points, I have 3 points under 2281 and remainder under 2282. In such cases, which will be my primary NOC? Also, forgive my ignorance, is there a way to specify two NOC's in the application. Currently I specified only 2282 in NOC section of EE profile.
  • With effect from June6, there is no need to create profile in Job bank. But, there are some threads which notes that ONIP application asks for JOB bank profile number. Is that means, creating a job profile is mandatory while applying for PNP?
I request you all to clarify my queries .

Thanks in Advance,
Sundar.
Any response for my queries please?

Hello Members,
  • In such cases, which will be my primary NOC?
You can choose any as your primary NOC as long as you have sufficient documentary proof for it - reference letters, work contract, offer letter, payslips etc.
  • Also, is there a way to specify two NOC's in the application. Currently I specified only 2282 in NOC section of EE profile.
I've 3 different NOCs in the last 6 years - I included them all in my Work History section. Your work experience doesn't depend on your NOC but number of years you've worked in total in any job, company or NOC.

Is that means, creating a job profile is mandatory while applying for PNP?
I request you all to clarify my queries .

Yes.

Sundar.
Hello Sundar, please see my answers in red. Good luck.

Hi All

Please give your opinion for the case below;

I had EE profile created on June 21 with 403 CRS points. I recieved NOI on June 23 for NOC 2171. My IELTS was expiring on 11th July so with new results, I went into my EE profile on July 9th to update the IELTS results.

Afterwards i realised that the education and work experience section were showing as in progress "No data available in the table" . Mind you these sections i didnt touch nor make changes to. Now today, i recieved a letter from CIC deeming my profile ineligeble. I have screenshots for all errors etc. My score is 70, above the required 67.

1- What happens to my NOI - Can i create a new EE profile and what happens at time of application?

2- Is this normal ? Or should i follow up with CIC - can they reactivate my EE if the fault is on them?

3- Any advise ?

Any feedback from anyone who has gone through a similar experience ? I was midway gathering all my documents to submit end of July.

Should I provide a scanned copy of my picture or I can upload a digital one in OINP application?? TIA
I was also confused as when you will open photo uploading tab it is written there to upload backside of photo too with your name and DOB. I did attached front and back side scan plus digital copy too.

Lol why will IRCC be worried about age gap b/w spouses ;)
Because they are not fooled. Age gap b/w spouses create doubts like whether marriage is actual marriage or just for visa purpose. There thinking starts from the point where your thinking stops.

I thought that in America they don't pay attention to the gap (by the way, what is "normal": 1-2-3 or 15 years, and who should be older?) in ages, nor to the gender of the couple.
