I asked my consultant to send an email to OINP and I received this email from them yesterday
Dear Sir/Madam,



Your application package has been received in our office and is in queue for review by an officer.



If the application is complete, you will receive an acknowledgement letter from OINP by email to indicate that your application has been accepted by this office.

If the application is not complete, the entire application package will be returned to you by Purolator including the payment.

Our program strives to adhere to a 90 day service standard to ensure that all applicants receive a decision on their application in a timely and predictable manner. Due to the large volume of applications that the program has received, it may take more than 90 days to reach a final decision on your application. We sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding, and apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Raj, Piyush, ppahuja and others: what do you make of this "news"? Do you believe this to be true?

I second what ppahuja said. They probably worked with lower bandwidth during the holiday season.

Again we have a small sample size to get a definitive pattern but yeah seems like things are picking up!

came across this site and seems to have a lot of information.

My wife is the principal applicant and her documents were received on Nov 16th await AOR ( NOC 3141). We face a small challenge and need some guidance.

# our passports have to be renewed as we have 3-4 blank pages and our residency renewal ( Middle east) is also due. should we inform OINP now or after receiving the AOR.

Also do we need to inform CIC and best way to inform them.

Hi all,
Just received my file marked as "returned" due to "incomplete package". There was a checklist where they marked only the following point incomplete:
1. All blank pages of principal applicant's passport
They gave me 30 calendar days (from 19th feb) to resubmit.
I am confused on the following issues:
1. Do I have to fill up "nominee application form" again with current date?
2. Does any other paper needs to be updated?
Please help. I won't get any further chance if I fail to comply this time.
Also the most important question is:
Did they check the full package? I mean, they didn't mark any other point/paper. Does it mean that my other papers are OK?
Please help me out. Feeling nervous!

Nope Mine was sent on 15th Nov (hand delivered). Nothing so far.

So this is the outcome!

Last Friday my app was REJECTED! Yes, you read it right, rejected which is a rare case in OINP and I am the chosen one who actually lived out to see it happening.

And the reason, my package was received by them post the 45 days timeline, fair enough!
But the real picture behind all this is, I have a consultant or a "I know it all" consultant who kept telling "I know these people well, we can still post it post 45 days".

I felt a bit disappointed and only regretted as why I did not persuade the consultant to go by the rule/guideline well written in the application guide but went by his word of assurance. A lesson learnt here at the cost of 6 months’ time and time is really precious!

But at the same time I am only focusing at what has to be done at this point of time with the required aggression. Re-creating EE profile.. Re-applying for OINP and then the wait again..

Somehow, all these days when I was waiting for AOR along with you guys and today I know I am no more there it feels as if I have missed a bus
I will miss you guys and wish you all a speedy speedy AOR and nomination

I'm so sorry & disheartened to read this mate. Please proceed in recreating your EE profile and send them your OINP package at the earliest possibility after getting PT. Wish you all the very best!!
