My file no is between 5500 and 6000.
The quata for 2016 is 5500. What if 5500 applicants accept nominations before my file number?

Will they not send nomination to me or will they keep me for 2017?

But our file number starts with 160xxxx so it should be for 2016??

The problem is the notarized translation OINP requires... These are expensive in Brazil as it's a legal service.

The ideal thing here is speak to the OINP officer in charge of your documentation and get the go ahead on doing a partial translation, but since that's unlikely your options are doing the whole thing if you can afford it or risk doing a partial and explaining with a letter.

I think 160xxxx means it was assessed for AoR in 2016, not necessarily in the quota of 2016

Do not worry. IF they process all files up to 5500 they will process yours. They must have given 10% extra PT considering there are some rejections, some withdrawals and some ineligible applications. And now when OINP is so late in processing, so many applicants who applied to SK and other province have got nominations and they have withdrawn their application. may be there are less than 5500 applications now to process.

Hello Seniors, I am a situation and need your help !! :-[

I am a March applicant. In Jan, when I created my EE profile I had 406 points and on May it got dropped to 400 points due to my age.
The points were granted based on the IELTS scores L-8; R-7; W-6.5; S-7, which is due to expire on 2-Oct 2016. Hence, recently I gave my IELTS, but unfortunately my scores are low as compared to the previous result. The new IELTS scores are L-8; R-7; W-6; S-6.5

The problem is, with the new IELTS score, my points are down to 386 and correct me if I am wrong, by 2-Oct 2016, my EE profile will also get inactive due to my IELTS expiration.

Please suggest me if I need to give me IELTS once again, but by that time my EE profile will be inactive. Will this be an issue?
I mean, ultimately it is due to delay by ONIP, I am in this situation and I need to give me IELTS. Won't they consider my old IELTS results and process my application?
What would happen if I update the new IELTS score into my profile?
Or any other suggestion you guys can add?

Kar1205, I'm not a senior, but let's see if my opinion helps at all. I would schedule a new date to take the IELTS exam and IGNORE the one you just took. Then I'd e-mail OINP explaining that your IELTS is about to expire and that you have signed up to take a new one, but the only date available was (enter the date). Attach proof of payment and every info IELTS sends your way, to assure OINP that you are taking a new exam shortly. Hopefully, you'll do better on this one and they might consider waiting. That's what I would do. Good luck!

Thanks for the complements. They have given nomination to 871 people and they will give the rest soon. Good news is they have started sending additional doc. req. to December applicants instead of phone calls and 2 applicants got the same yesterday. IF they continue this trend we will see fast moving process once again like AOR with everyone receiving additional Doc req.
