Has anyone applied for their OHIP before their PR status came through so you don't have to wait an additional three months for your insurance. I am going into a service Canada on Wednesday but was wondering if anyone has any done it before.

OHIP is through Service Ontario. Can’t answer the rest though if you are not eligible, there really isn’t much you can do.

Have you received AIP? If not, nothing much you can do you don’t qualify yet. Do you have an OWP and a job that will last over 6 months?

Even though you apply before, OHIP has a waiting period of 90 days since you land.
