Hi,
My husband has still not received his letter for the second landing appointment. My Drivers License is still going to take 4-6 weeks before it arrives....but we had already signed our lease three weeks ago (before the CIC Office did not complete the landing appointment)...so now we are moving from Ontario to Quebec. I understand that my husband can drive with his Ontario drivers license for 6 months....but what about our vehicle registration? In order to register a vehicle in Quebec you need to first have a Quebec drivers license. What can we do if my husband cannot exchange his Ontario drivers license for a Quebec one because he has not received his PR card? I only have my Ontario G1 Drives license..will be taking my G2 test soon....but does the Ontario G2 drivers license exchange for the Quebec one? Also will my husband's immigration file transfer from Ottawa to Montreal when we move if the Ottawa office has not managed to schedule the second landing appointment for my husband. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
