On the first landing appointment in Ottawa we were turned away because the provincial government did not send me my new drivers license in the mail on time. The second landing appointment was also unsuccessful due to cic's computer system. The third the VO was on holiday, the fourth someone else was sick. On the most recent visit we were guaranteed the landing appointment this week to not only ourselves but to the local MP's office. Today however we were called to bring in proof that my husband was living with me when we had first arrived in Canada over one year ago. We asked if a Bank Document and letter from a bank official would be sufficient.( My husband cannot open a bank account in his own name without a PR card and therefore I had to add him as a card holder onto my Visa). The VO answered yes. We have been waiting over two months since the first failed landing appointment and would appreciate any advice or helpful comments.
