October applicants with no test invite

uncomfortable

One thing that upsets me a lot is that I had plenty of time since October to pass the test, but now that summer is around the corner, I am traveling out of the city for personal or work reasons very often. I am so stressed that they will finally send me a test date for when I am not here (high chance it will happen, I am away two full weeks in July and one week in August).

Can someone remind me where to find the online contact form to inform CIC of our absences?

Thanks!

Don't worry, things can change quickly. The notes I received about a week ago (thus contains info 5 week ago) look exactly like this, and I'm Decision Made right now. But like you said they might invite you for test when you want it the least...
do you mean you did not have any test invite and right away the decision is made?

No. I meant I went from everything "Not Started" except criminality to getting test invite, to taking the test, and to Decision Made, in a matter of weeks.

So at which point can we call CIC and request an update on our file? Last time I called, they said they couldn't tell me anything if it was within the 12 months window of processing - but say we don't have our test invite by August/early September, we are DEFINITELY not getting our oath by October. Most people are waiting 2/3 months between test and oath (or more!). And at this rate, I feel like test invites will be skipped altogether during summer time because of CIC offices closing for the holiday etc...

I try to live my life not thinking and stressing about this but I can't help myself and check my ECAS everyday, even though nothing has changed since January 27. Another week goes by in June and still no update. This is so frustrating!

I feel the same way, I know some people who are done with their test to the fact that I submitted my application way ahead of them. The most frustrating part is even if you email them or call them, you will not get a decent answer. I can't help myself thinking that maybe something is wrong with my application, but at least they should tell us what is going on. My application has been in process since Jan 3.

Citizenship application processing time is 12 months and definitely, your case will be attended
to within this timeline.
Relax, the good news is on the way.
Thanks
