Looks like Kitchener has scheduled 9 ceremonies between April 13–19 (per https://secure.cic.gc.ca/ceremonyceremonie/en/Home) —finally picking up the pace!
Just sharing here since I know a few people in this thread from KW have been waiting for their oath invites.
Update: I just received my in-person oath invitation letter (April 22, 2026), and the ceremony location is in Cambridge, even though the email was sent from the IRCC Kitchener office.

Anybody taking their oath in Scarborough on May 6th?

Also, for those who have applied for their passport, I am not clear on the guarantor and reference requirements. Can anybody confirm if you need 1 guarantor and 2 references? Can the guarantor and references be relatives such as in-laws or siblings? TIA.

Answer here : https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...s/travel-documents-references-guarantors.html

If it's TLDR, yeah, one guarantor and 2 refs, the guarantor can be family but the references cannot.
