Interesting that you were able to create tracking accounts. I tried (after receiving AOR emails with application id) but does not work yet (no tracker email yet but got FP request for one of the people)

IRCC will send you another email to create account once they have this information uploaded in their system. It took 3 days for me to log into tracker account.

I was able to create tracker on 28 Jan. Thanks.

Background for dad shows completed on Jan 28 but for mom we got FP request (no idea why), background still in progress presumably waiting for FPs - did those on 29th, will see how long it takes to get there

Curious, for those who had to do FP, how long did it take for BG status to change ?

I've already setup the tracker after the first email though. I checked the tracker and there's no actual updates, so gonna assume this was sent in error and just ignore it.

Not sure if this is common, or if anyone else here got this as well.

Received AOR on Dec 31st, and tracker activated on Jan 2nd

Since then, no update. Background Verification still In Progress.

Hard to tell. Can be a few days, weeks or months. In our case, its been 7 months since they were requested.

No, everything has been in progress even before the second tracker email.
