Wow, Congrats! Nothing for me yet.

When did you get the invite and for what date?

Also, which office is the Ceremony invite from?
I don't know my office, but assume it's Fredericton. I got invite today for May 16. My Timeline - September 26 AOR, November 29 LPP. May 8 - Oath Invitation Released. I believe You should receive Invitation soon.

Was that in person or virtual? Or it's not mentioned ?

Yes, I am in NB. Seems no ceremony is scheduled in NB for the next few weeks
I’m also in NB and have been wondering if they have to wait until there’s enough of us to hold a ceremony? So that we might be waiting for a ceremony longer than in higher populated areas. Of course my LPp hasn’t been done yet (I’m a Feb 2025 applicant) so it’s currently a moot point for me personally

Have you asked for an in-person ceremony? I don't think there is any geographic restriction for virtual ceremonies, except possibly time zone.

I think I did. My 5 year old is really excited for me to become Canadian like the rest of the family so if at all possible I’m hoping for in person so she can see it (since I imagine zoom ceremonies aren’t very child friendly).

Good for you. My adult children liked it.

And that may be an issue then - if you're not in a huge rush, I'm sure they do them in NB, I just haven't seen how often. (If it doesn't show up soon - ask your MP! How can they not have regular citizenship ceremonies?)

I saw one on the list of in person ones back in March. I figure there can’t be that many of us in NB so I imagine they’re infrequent. I don’t mind waiting, was just musing on if it’s a numbers game where they wait until X applicants are ready for the oath.

Applied on October 17th

I have received my GCMS from IRCC and CBSA

On IRCC the security clearance section is blank but on CBSA notes it says in-progress and in sub activities it says CIT CSIS Screening but the status is blank.

Anyone who has seen the similar situation?

After 5.5 months waiting for the ceremony I just decided to not reschedule anything and accepted an online ceremony with Montreal office. I'm from NB.

Same as mine for IRCC notes, but mine from CBSA is not blank. Under the CIT CSIS Screening it says "Pending Results" and no update so far.
