I am in a similar boat. I received my background check completed on Nov 16, and received the "Follow the progress of your citizenship ..." email on Nov 23, and still waiting for my test invite email

I checked the tracker again today, and it says "Updated: November 29, 2023" with no other information under application history. Is this what they call a "ghost update"?

Yes, it shows that the Citizenship Test was completed and it is highlighted in green just like my BG check. It also shows under the update section. Below is what I see on my tracker.

I think it completely depends on how lucky you are with your officer. We're both quite unlucky it seems, still no background check completed or test invite for me, but I think this "ghost update" implies something will happen soon. At least I'm hoping for that.

I got a request for fingerprints too but I’m wondering where to have it done , since online I just found authorized offices from RCMP but not sure if I can go to a police office directly? Thanks

Yes It is common if you have traveled outside Canada in the last five year or you have not provided it during PR application you most likely be asked for finger print, my tracker show that finger print required but I haven't got the official letter yet,

I got a fingerprint request today , can somebody advise me how long it takes once I take it for ircc receive it ?
and if can it be taken in a RCMP or it has to be taken only in a authorized office by rcmp? Thanks in advance

Is it normal to not receive the test instructions letter till a day before the test start date? Or should I be worried and reach out to customer service?
