I was wondering if anyone here received test invitation email recently (from nov 16 onwards) and indicates that we can take the test from outside canada. The link on the IRCC website that states that we can take from outside canada is no longer found. I read from somewhere too that IRCC doesn’t indicate this anymore on their invitation email. Can anyone shed some light here or share their experience? I highly appreciate your response/s

I’m September applicant and inside Canada right now but there was a part In my test invite for applicants outside of Canada to contact them (the office) within 24 to 48 hours from date of test notice and they will contact you after for next steps.
I got my test invite on November 8.

Hello, I really appreciate your reply. What was your office and did you get the new 30-day duration for the test or still the usual 3 weeks? There has been a new update from IRCC website that allows applicants to take the test for up to 3x within that 30-day period

Language, Prohibitions, and Physical presence are still in progress. When are they marked as complete? My wife got her citizenship in June of this year. In her case, everything (except for the test and the citizenship ceremony, of course) was marked as "Completed" before she got a test invite. Has there been a change in the process lately?

My test invite was from West which means Vancouver office. My test window was 21 days. The only thing that was different was duration of test. They initially said you have 30min but in actual test, the duration was 45min.

How was the test?

It wasn't that bad at all. I read the Discovery Guide once and did the online tests on the Richmond Library website. This helped me a ton. Just read the guide 1-2 times and you will be fine. Good luck!

Hey guys, curious to know how did you know if there's a ghost update or not? Did you get an email but not seeing any updates in the portal?

I registered the portal on Nov 22, and the portal did show a badge “New Update” but there isn't any updates, and when I login again later that badge disappeared. Does this count as a ghost update?
