Hi all, its been 15 days since my Citizenship Test was updated to 'Completed'.

From your experience what comes next?
(1) Fingerprint check; or
(2) Oath invitation; or
(3) Something Else?

Also, how long of a wait should one expect for the next step?

Indicators in Progress:
(1) Language Skills
(2) Prohibitions
(3) Physical Presence

Not Started:
(1) Citizenship Ceremony

Thanks to all who reply.

August 2020 applicant.

not sure if I’m routine or not but the interview was quiet intense. My interviewer was very strict and didn’t show any emotions. I’ve had a lot of trips to the US but I’m not sure if that was the reason. So I’m just wondering what’sgoing on and if I need to do something
I know a number of Canadian PRs who are now citizens, that are married to US citizens and thus travel across the border a lot. Many of them multiple times a week. Some have moved to the US to be with their spouses before becoming Canadian citizens. None of them had any issues with their citizenship process, many approved within 15 months of applying. None of them had interviews. So travel to the US should not be a reason in itself for them needing to interview you and delay your citizenship application.

Was there anything else they asked during the interview that could give you a hint why you are being interviewed?

Hi guys,

I've been keeping an eye on this forum and the spreadsheet to know what to expect when it comes to my Citizenship application and timeline.
I thought it would also be good if I share my own timeline and contribute:

Physical presence days: 1106
Applied for citizenship: 24th Oct 2021
Received AOR: 1st Feb 2022
Online notification to submit fingerprints: 11th July 2022
Email instructions for fingerprint: 13th July 2022
Submitted fingerprint: 13th July 2022
Online notification to do citizenship test: 21st July 2022
Email instructions for test: Not yet received
Test window: 29 July to 18 August 2022

Updating my timeline:
Test taken: 30th July 2022

I thoroughly studied the Discover Canada book, and used many practice tests on public library websites.
I got 20/20 as my temporary results.

Its actually not allowed to give information about what kind of questions comes on the test.
But, what I can tell you is that if you can do the practice tests from these websites, you should be good.
These are how I practiced:
https://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/new-to-canada/citizenship.jsp
http://citizenshipcounts.ca/

Both sources are publicly funded, and provide good examples of questions.

I couldn't resist any longer and finally gave in and called IRCC. They had my updated US address, so that is good, and confirms that sending a webform is sufficient, and they do not acknowledge the change in address.

As for the status, no update, just asked to wait which is what I was expecting to be told anyway.

My file is still in the Sydney Central processing office, and not yet transferred to the local office.

I think I have a long wait ahead of me... can't expect a test invite any time soon.

I’m not asking exact questions. I’m just asking what type of questions do we have to study? Like any certain dates or anything?
