I just got test invite today for August

In-Progress: April 23rd 2021
Test invitation updated: 29th July 2021 (test to be taken between 4th to 25th August 2021).

I've added you to the spreadsheet. Please post an update once you receive the test email and once after taking the test.

1. You don't. You can take test any day and any time between the test window.
2. You'll have to follow the instructions on the IRCC website or the test email. You should first ask for permission to take the test outside Canada and IRCC will respond.
3. Discover Canada is the main resource. Read the entire book at least once. In addition to that, prepare using the following: Notes from Discover Canada and Sample tests.
4. It'll take time. Give it 3 - 5 months from the date the test is validated to oath.

Got fp request today (update on tracker).. no email… can I go to office without email copy ?… I live in Mississauga how to search office accredited by rcmp (other than googling)on official rcmp website?

I also got FP request today but with no email. However I am in India, is it something related to Biometrics? so that I can go to VFS office ?

Updated the spreadsheet. Not sure, people generally google "RCMP fingerprints near me" or something on those lines to get a list of RCMP accredited venues where you can provide FP.

Updated the spreadsheet. Yes, check with VFS, you might be able to provide your FP with them.

Hi Members,
Hope everyone is doing good. I have following question and would appreciate your help:
1. What is the difference between Test Invite and Interview Date
2. I got my test invite on Jun 18th 2020 and I completed my test on July 4th 2021. But, even after completing the Citizenship Test my status is “In Progress”
3. When should I expect an interview call and can I give an interview while I am outside Canada?

I am a bit worried. My background check is complete since Mar 17, 2021 but no news since then. Does the processing time depend on your location? I am from Montreal.

Do we get an email for the test invite? Can I know the sender email address so that i can add it to my list of emails so that the email does not go into my junk box?

You'll first receive a notification on the status dashboard. You'll receive an email later (a few days before the test). The email ID depends on your office, I don't have the email ID for Montreal office. Also, sometimes, the test email might be sent directly from an officer's email ID (like firstname.lastname@cic.gc.ca).

Did you check the new tracker? It will be the first place to know when the test is coming.
