@legalfalcon Can we order CBSA notes? Are they still quicker during these times? I've already ordered normal GCMS from your website and it looks like they will take longer for everyone.
It is not that CBSA is faster or IRCC. Both, IRCC and CBSA process and release information under the Access to Information Act, and as per section 7 they have to provide this information within 30 days.

However, IRCC receives the the most number of requests under the Access to Information Act and due to the sheer volume and the COVID office closures and staffing issues, there are significant delays, as compared to CBSA, which receives far fewer requests.

Still... tbh... I'd rather wait with a COPR than without one.
Fair enough but if you do just a little bit of research you'll see that a lot of people are having issues with expired COPR's which are not getting reissuded on time because of the travel and COVID restrictions.

Anyway just thought to put this out there. Was surprised when I found out yesterday.

Hey! The bar on my profile had reached 48%, but last night it disappeared. Is this normal?

Yeah, it's fine to be concerned. COPRs expire when medicals expire, so if I wait till my medical expires and don't have my COPR by then, I will have to redo it either way.

How guys ... latest update on my end.

AoR 21 oct
MEP/Bil 01 December
Eligibility Passed 06 January

Called today just now, been informed that on the 7th of December, my file has been moved forward to HONGKONG visa office which is my primary visa office now and hence they no longer have any information on their end.

Anyone has any idea what this might imply ?

Thanx in advance guys !

I'm wishing many of us get PPR this month. The wait is debilitating.

Random but serious question:

Are you all aware of the March 18th 2020 COPR rule? i.e. 'You can travel to Canada if your CoPR was approved after March 18, 2020 , and you are travelling from the United States to settle and live in Canada. If you are a permanent resident with a CoPR that was approved before March 18, 2020, you can also travel to Canada. "

So unless everyone who is one this group and is just receiving COPRs lives in the USA, we can't even land in Canada... until this rule changes.
COPR after mar 18th 2020 and living in US cannot travel to Canada?
