Hi guys, I need your opinion on this. My application was received on October 30 and I still haven’t received my AOR. I called them today to see if my application was returned and they said no, and they don’t have any information on my file meaning file hasn’t been uploaded yet or the envelope hasn’t been opened yet. I see some folks from November 20 already getting AOR.

I just wanted to know what would you guys suggest on this...is there anything I can or should do.

Hi there - I can understand your concern and you are fully right in following up and thinking about what can you do. At this point in time, you should call them every few days. This may sound irritating but at least the agents would log your request again and again and eventually it gets picked up.

Does anybody has an idea, why did CIC send the fingerprint request? is it going to take longer than the normal process or should I consider it one step closer to get test request? thanks in advance.

I heard that they just select some people randomly - despite the scary letter -, especially those with common names. Don't know if it will delay the process.

My fp were taken last Wednesday and I was told that CIC might have it by the end of next week, what doesn't mean that it'll be on my file by then

Did you try checking ECAS with your UCI? Sometimes they make errors by entering the wrong email address

Thank you so much..i will follow up with them if I don't hear anything from them by Friday 14th
