May we know you AOR date? You are posting this question on multiple forums. any reasons for this panic? GCMS notes are what really help more rather than a call.
Any way you have the right number, call again any number of times you want. There is no shortcut.
Alternatively, you may reach cic via their twitter account, let them know the reason for your panic and if genuine they would assist.

Hello guys,

I received my AOR in October and the processing of my PR application was supposed to end on the 28th of April. However, the profile states the following small update:

Your application is taking us longer than usual to process.

About 20% of our applications are more complex to process. They take us longer due to things like how easily we can verify information, how well and how quickly you answer our requests and whether the application is complete.

I can imagine I'm not the only one in this situation? Contacted IRCC via the web form and I just received a generic answer blaming the extended processing times on ... you guessed: Covid.
Does anyone have any clue how much longer this can take? It's quite outrageous not being able to check a bunch of pdfs in 6 months+.

Nobody knows... I agree it's a lot of time, but keep in mind they process thousands of people's with many different backgrounds and multiple verification are required...

Thanks for your response. AOR:27 December; program: FSW(O); country:India. I am not panicked. I m just eager(and impatient!) to know the current status of my file. I applied for GCMS notes on 01 May and they are awaited. My webform query response is also awaited.

As I understand from your reply, there is no particular time when IRCC agents are definitely available to talk. I need to go for random tries!

did u submit any study permit appl/extension in nov-2019? If yes, then it seems cic probably mixed up docs from that application with your pr appl.
doesn't seem to be anything you need to do.. it looks sorted now (on 15-apr)

I had raised a webform last week. Got the following reply:

“

• Your application is currently being processed at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia
• The eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied are currently valid.
• The security background verification is currently valid.
• The criminal background verification is currently valid.

While the processing times may vary with each case, we will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible.

Congratulations! Based on the latest note (note 1), your file is already approved by the visa officer. Wait for them to start issuing PPR (basically when work from home ends in India and Canada opens its borders again).

My AOR is October 28, 2019, as per the webform reply last week, everything is passed. My current employer is initiating a work permit for me in Belgium and the expected processing time is 1-1.5 months.

Do I need to inform CIC about the work permit?
Is this going to cause any conflict with my PR?

Can you guys shed some light on this.
