Before I sent it to Sydney by post mail and just on calling CIC told us that file transferred to Mississaga but no email from CIC for that.

Same afghan applicant but I think for our country it takes more time as compare to others i really hope we will hear something very soon

Update-Oct 2, 2019: Got Decision Made status on ECAS.

At present, my wife and child have approved visitor visas valid till Jan 2020. They are staying with me in Canada, and since my application is "OUTLAND" type Can someone please suggest on my below queries:

• Within the next few days, if we get PPR from CIC, where should I send the passports because PA/dep will be in Canada at this time?
• For the COPR received along with passports, Do PA/dep need to go out of Canada and required to do a port of entry at the border crossing from Niagara falls bridge? I assume based on outland application, this has to be done and will not be mentioned from CIC to me to do this.

I have asked some of the Inland applicants where they don't have to do this out-in border crossing.

No ,we never got any email or online update /request from embassy till now and we dont know what they want to hear .Yes ,Mp is helping and told us to write to cic from sponsor side that he(sponsor) is involved in the process .But we are not able to understand their point.Its obvious that no one can submit sponsorship file without sponsor's consent.

I would suggest you attend the interview together.
Even though it may not be required.
Get there early ...Bring your passports, interview letter, and other requested documents.

He is in Algeria, unfortunately not possible.

Has anyone had an interview? We have an interview schedule next week and they asked us to bring more documents about our relationship.

For anyone interested,

His interview was an hour long. They asked him thorough questions on our relationship, his travels, even the names of my family, by brothers girlfriend, what does she do. Very detailed. Looked through his cell phone for 15 minutes!
