Hello!
I just noticed that there is a new line in my ECAS.

4. We sent you a notice on April 25, 2019 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on June 3, 2019 at 1:30 PM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

This is weird though.... I have not taken test yet. and I am invited to take the oath. Has anyone had a case like this????

if i am not mistaken there is a post on this..just go beliw some peoplw got it..and if am not mistaken there Oath suppose to be beginning of May ..maybe they have call and maybe its true..call them to know...

I have been meaning to update this but I have been lazy. Please include me on the spreadsheet. Here is my timeline:

I went for the interview two days ago and it was such a pleasant experience. I was definitely over-prepared. It took about 5 minutes.
I saw Decision Made on ECAS today!!! I am so happy.
On behalf of my family, I am very thankful for this progress and looking forward to the next steps.

I know I am not at the end of it yet, but honestly the information on this forum has helped me a lot in this process!

You are not alone so don't get too stressed. My timeline is similar as yours except mine was received on Oct 19 and AOR was Jan 11 and In process was Jan 22. I was hopeful to get an invitation last month but nothing came up and I have no time to sit and wait on line to be able to talk to the agent during the busy work week. I finally had time to call them today and all I received was the same story. All is well and I'm not alone. This is average so just wait at the moment. Well, it has been over 6 months. Just 6 months. Just keep working and living your life. I'm sure they will show up at one point. FYI: I got the same email as yours twice when I used the Webform to inquire about my application. I guess there are hundreds of people out there who are just like us. So, again, don't be too stressed. Let's give them another 6 months. Earlier? will consider it lucky.

If you look at the SS, there are many people who even finished taking test, oath etc. Hence my query was to keep everyone reporting their dates, until this nightmare ends. My friend in Delta, BC had exactly same time line as mine who applied in 2017 & got his certificate by the end of Apr'18. This year, it seems to be a slower process. Whereas, in an election year, it should be quicker to get as many as new citizens to vote by Sep'19.

Happy to see a FP request applicant getting test invite!
Can you please share what says on ECAS (ideally it should be #4 for test invite but since FP request was #4, it will be #5 for the concerned applicants) and whether you got email or postal invitation?

I called them today and they said they will contact the local office to clarify (Calgary) but they said it is possible that I might have a test and the oath ceremony on the same date. This is not very common, they said, but it happens. They also told me to be prepared for both events that day.
I also did some research today on this forum and I realized some people do get both on the same day. Some people said some people who live far away from the local office, they tend to get both done on the same day. Well, it makes sense to me as I live in Canmore (about 1 hour drive from Calgary).
I guess, I'm going to wait until I get the letter probably this week to see what it says!!
