You should be able to link it right away, we did it about 10 mins after receiving AOR1. I followed the instructions in the google spreadsheet, one of the tabs in the spreadsheet says linking to CIC, follow that. I included my husband's (the PA's) city and country of birth and it worked. Followed everything else exactly as the spreadsheet instructed.Yeah I put my info (I'm the PA) but it says we found no application. Is it because I just received the aor email 9 hours ago and the system couldn't detect it yet?
To get what result? When did you apply and what country are you applying from?Hello
My application show in process so how many days it take more for result?
what did you have to do different to be able to link it now? Finally linked my account after two hours! After linking, the inbox has a request for Sched A and Police clearance. Phew!
You're still well within timelines to get AOR, try to relax a bit for now...nothing to worry about as of now.I am really worried , I am not getting the first AOR , application was received 11th October. ?? I don't know in which order they are processing files. This wait is too much.
Some people who applied in September haven't even had their AOR so you just have to sit tight.I am really worried , I am not getting the first AOR , application was received 11th October. ?? I don't know in which order they are processing files. This wait is too much.
Also, they don't process in a linear order. I don't understand why that seems to be so widely assumed. It's normal to see some others get AOR before you that applied after you. Not trying to create panic over here, voicing my opinion , i don't see anything wrong in it . Thanks for the helpful reply. Some people who applied in September haven't even had their AOR so you just have to sit tight.
Yes we are seeing some October applicants start to get theirs but things don't always go in logical order with CIC.
No need to add more panic or stress to what is already a stressful process when your timeline is still absolutely normal.
Thanks for ending it on a lighter note ... Hoping for best for everyone...Also, they don't process in a linear order. I don't understand why that seems to be so widely assumed. It's normal to see some others get AOR before you that applied after you. Don't worry
I didn't mean you were adding to anyone else's stress or panic. I simply meant try not to worry about more than YOU need to.Not trying to create panic over here, voicing my opinion , i don't see anything wrong in it . Thanks for the helpful reply.
Its all good weegie, Hoping the same for you . Good luckI didn't mean you were adding to anyone else's stress or panic. I simply meant try not to worry about more than YOU need to.
Anyways hope it's a smooth process for you.
I chose UCI and application number, encoded all info in capital letters. I also referred to my copy of generic form that I submitted for how my data was encoded, with the proper spacing example: Quezon City, Manila not Quezon City,Manila. Coz the generic form creates barcode right? So how we encode our data, that's how it was uploaded to their system (My theory). I Put number "2" in the number of applicants. Hope this works for everyone toowhat did you have to do different to be able to link it now?
