Hi everyone, this is the first time go to this place. needs some help. My husband applied citizen last Septmber 28 , got receipt and book, then no update at all as following. We live in Duncan, BC. Called the help center, said eveything is fine in the order. Back ground was done. But it almost 10 months no test invation. Anyone has the idea? Many thanks.

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on September 28, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 24, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on November 1, 2017.

Based on 12 month processing time. Your husband should get test invite this month.

Or Check citizenship ceremonies itinerary for Duncan and that should give you an idea when to expect a test invite. A couple of months before that.

I am still waiting to although my processing time started in Jan but same 8/9 mnth now.

Hi! Today 19th July, all our family members received an invite by email for taking oath at citizenship ceremony to be held on 3rd August. My family and I had test and interview on 8th March and online status was changes to DM on 9th March. Kindly update my status on October applicants' sheet.

Thanks to admn and organizers of this site and sheet which is very helpful in understanding the process and estimating the time that your citizenship application may take!
