Hello all - new here, Need some guidance:
so my file is from winnipeg.

It has been stuck on this:
I have not seen any update since January of this year..
I came to canada on student visa basis originally before getting my PR - if that makes difference.

What are your thoughts?

Citizenship

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 23, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 27, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on January 19, 2018

Status update : I received an email today (15 June) from CIC inviting me to attend the Canadian Citizenship Ceremony on July 10th
ECAS has yet to be updated.
FYI, I updated my address online on 11th June. Not sure if this had anything to do with bumping things along.

Well this is strange. ECAS updated on 16th June with the following:-
We sent you a notice on June 6, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on July 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Anyone from Brampton or Mississauga got the test invite?
I apply on Oct 16th
App received on Oct 19th
Processing Started on Dec 6th
Finger prints request on Feb15th
Finger prints received to CIC on March4th (I checked with RCMP and CIC)

Hi, I also have the same timelines, and gave the interview on June 1, status to DM updated. Kindly post whenever you get the invite for oath. I will also do the same.

DM Jun 15th. Ceremony date on July 6th. Good luck.

Received my Canadian passport today. It took 1 week to process

I guess this is now the end of the road for me. I have waited 13 years for this day.

IP : Dec 10 , 2017
test : Jan 27 , 2018
DM : May 29 , 2018
oath : June 19 , 2018

status changed to complete and the last line in ecase says I became a Canadian Citizen

Oct 16th applicant from Brampton here. In process since Nov 23. Nothing since then. Its frustrating, but cant fo anything. Cic listens to nobody.

Make sure to check your online status, there's no email notification, and I received invitation in mail a week later.
