I received my "in process" update on e-cas dated Nov 15, 2016. So far, this is how it went:

App sent: Oct. 17,2016
App Received: Oct. 18, 2016
AOR: Nov 4, 2016
In Process Notification: Nov 15, 2016

How many days it takes to get the notification for test after the application goes to in process ? will the application status change to anything else when we get the test invitation ?

Regular Mail..
and ecas status update as well...but at time it get delayed..

1. I moved in Aug 25th, 2012 with a job offer and started working right away, so for tax requirement, should I be able to count that.

2012 - 1st
2013 - 2nd
2014 - 3rd
2015 - 4th

2. In the Application CIT0002E, questions J Taxation Year, should I include 2016 as "Required to File" =Yes and "Taxes Filed" = No.
or I shouldn't even mention 2016 since I will be applying in Nov, and taxation year hasn't ended yet.

1. Yes.. i did it same.. i landed in Aug 2012 as well
2, No Need for 2016... coz your 4 year is complete from 12-15.. for 16 you required in 17 so leave it..
