Hello All,

I'm planning on sending my application on January 18. I know this forum is for October applicants, but since you guys have applied a while back and might have heard back from CIC regarding any issues I figured I should use your help as well. My question is regarding the physical calculator. I'm filling out the absences in the past 6 years. In my case the relevant period is from January 18, 2011 to January 18, 2017.

The issue is that I was out of the country for the full year of 2011. But when I put down my first absence, obviously starting from January 18, 2011 to whatever, at the end of the calculation in the results page under "Number of days physically present per calendar year" and under year 2011, it says 1 where it should technically be 0 since I wasn't presence that year at all. Any of you have encountered a similar issue? Should I start my first absence from January 17, 2011 instead even though that it is outside the relevant period?

I would appreciate your help.

hi rachel from where are you in canada? how long it will take to get the oath letter after the exam? coz mine was been decision made since dec 28 2016 until now and i checked the schedule of the ceremony there was two one is on January 17 which is tomorrow and the secnd is Jan 23 so im just wondering when will i get a letter ? because they say now the processing will take 3 months process for a complete package.

After test, you might have Interview, I think it's better to take all of your original docs.

You will have an interview after your test. Bring all the original documents of which you sent copies with your application - passport(s), language proof, PR card, Driver license and so on... It lists all the documents you need to take on your test invite letter also.

So it turned out your suggestion was correct imran01.

Got the letter in mail December 24 (strangely enough on a Saturday for the first time ever since I arrived in Canada!)

I did the fingerprints as required on December 27 waiting to see what's next.

Hi Did you get any response from CIC after submitting the finger prints. I did mine on 23rd Dec, No updates so far from CIC. Still the status is ' in process'.

They sent the oath invitation letter on Jan 16th and my oath ceremony is on Feb 2nd. The status has been updated in Ecas. I am still waiting for the oath letter. Please note that I have updated the excel spreadsheet.

I really appreciate everyone's effort in helping me through out my journey. Thank you everyone.
