It's been 2 months now and I am starting to worry. Still no update. How do they usually send the PPR, by mail or email?

Around how many weeks did it take after DM before you got your PPR?
Also, do you know if your application was transferred to Ottawa after DM?

I don't think they notify people. On my case, I just found out because I sent a request to change my name (second name is misspelled) and they said they can't do anything about my paper anymore because it's been forwarded. They then gave me the ottawa email ad.

I don't know where is my doc, only when I got email from them, on the email is wroten who sent.
Like when they required Schedule A, it's sent from Sydeny

I,m September applicant, kinda in the same boat with you
I called to CIC today, they told me that my file still in Sydney, in order to get PPR it has to be sent to Ottawa,
so no worry if it is in Ottawa, that is good sign

and there is no exact timeline, it depends on your officer, some are working quick some are not

who ever does not know where is his file, just simply call them and ask kindly, they should tell you, if one does not, call them after one hour

No but I don't think I need it. Could it make it move faster? I don't think though...

it can take between 3-4 months. When I landed back in Sept the officer told me that you can expect your PR card in mail by end of Dec or in Jan 2016.

No it won't speed it up, but could provide some info, like if the background check is completed or not.

If you need it faster for some particular reason, you can get it faster, there is a fee for that, just check in CIC website

Thanks for the answer but after checking the CIC website I don't think I can make it faster because I should have a planed trip and prove it and it is not the case. I am just waiting to get it before planning it so...
