What city does your spouse live in. I am wondering because I still haven't got an email or snail mail for the SA. I checked ecas mid january and it said decision made and a letter was mailed to you but I still haven't got and SA via email or snail mail. I called the call centre after checking ecas and was told I was approved as a sponsor and the file was transferred to the visa office abroad, but I have nothing in writing.

Anyone know what I should do or do I really need the letter in writing or just go with what i was told by the call centre and ecas. I am hopeless rightnow.

this is not uncommon, it has happened before. you don't actually need the SA letter. if the call center is saying you were approved, the file's been tranferred and your ecas says dm, then that means you were approved.

My wife is in the Philippines and Im from Winnipeg, i got the letter about 6 business days after the date they said the letter was sent. Dont worry it is SA.

After in process its taking about 1-2 months right to get an answer?

NO AOR2 from NDVO yet! ???

It's been 16 days since SA & file transfer.
Been checking the spam folder and mail, but nothing so far.

I guess it takes longer than 2 weeks!

Anyone who gets AOR2 please post it on here, especially NDVO people! So we know if they are sending them out or not!

as per to the time it takes for in process that ive seen in the New Delhi spreadsheet all the October applicants should have in-process by April and May

BHKR you're right!
I've been doing that calculation myself.
Many who applied in May 2014 have got PPRs, quite a few June 2014 applicants and some July applicants too.

So we can get it in April/May/June 2015.
Keeping fingers crossed!

This may not happen so don't stress out. A lot of Visa offices don't send AOR when they get your applications. Mine didn't. Order the notes and that will show you when they got it.

Also I read somewhere that
1. you can't order them right away, your application should have crossed the given processing time and
2. you can only apply for them a limited number of times during your application process.

I'm sure this has been asked and answered before, but not on the Oct '14 forum.

Good luck to you with your application!

Your sponsor can order them on your behalf, you just need to fill and sign a consent form and and scan it and send it to him. He can apply using his UCI on your behalf.

You can order the notes any time you wish for as many times as you wish. You can even order them years after you land. That doesn't affect anything.

Having said that, it's good to wait a bit (maybe 2-3 months) after they received your application. This gives them time to actually open the file and make any comments if needed. Ordering now doesn't hurt but you'll see that nothing has started on your application

I should also add that you'll see when Mississauga sent the file to India and when India received it. But most likely nothing started yet (criminal, background etc).

So yeah go ahead and order
