I had replied earlier.

Unfortunately we dont know for sure if the file will be in queue till the marriage certificate is received or you will be processed as a Jan applicant since there is no consistency with CIC.

We have seen some people receiving AOR when the updated form/doc is received and some have to wait the additional days

Hi guyz, I am an October 22, 2014 applicant and still, we havent recieve any emai, AOR from CIC.. I feel frustrated.. Why it takes this long? Huhuhu ??? ::)

Have you contacted the CIC, since they are working on the Oct 27th you should call them and ask them for an update and they will be able to send a note or contact the Miss. office.

Check your spam folders and if you can't find anything from CIC, I would call. Good luck!

Still no email or letter about the sponsorship application but it says on ecas decision made :(. Should I call them? I'm an October 29th applicant based on the AOR I received via email.

It says decision made then they sent a letter about the decision on January 19th. I'm really expecting to receive a SA thru email because i included my email address in our application and i received an AOR thru email.

just because you are expecting sa by email, it doesn't mean CIC will send it by email. as this thread has mentioned, a lot of sa's are being sent by regular mail right now, regardless of whether an email was provided or not. it's also been mentioned it's taking 8ish days for it to arrive by mail, and it's dependant on where it's being mailed to. if you don't receive anything 8-10 days from the date the decision was made, then call the call center and they'll either tell you to wait until the letter arrives or give the sponsor information about the decision over the phone.

Thanks for the advise rhcohen, I guess I'll just have to wait for now. I'm just worried what will be the letter, either positive or negative news. And one more thing, is the decision made date the date of file transfer to VO too?

generally, the wording you see means it's a positive decision. yes, it is assumed the "transfer" date is the date of SA. no one can say for sure. if your visa office sends an AOR, you will know when it arrives, most dont, so it's just assumed it gets there, and there is no way to verify.

Rhcohen, do you know who enters "Medical results have been received."? Is it Mississauga or Ottawa?

no idea. since i was not able to sign in until AFTER SA, it could have been either or. i'm not sure if it goes in when the file's put in the system (presumably at mississauga) or if it's done upon transfer.

Another questions, sorry. I'm logging in with the UCI and my info. It shows one section under him as DM and in another block as "Application received". When I click on "Application received" it shows the same thing as when he logs in, i.e. the date received and meds received. Is this standard for the SA to see this too?
