I haven't received AOR2 till now. A month has already passed since I got my SA . Shall I call cic and let them know ? Would they be able to help ? NDVO is right now looking at july applicants , the wait just makes everyone so sad. Iam going to visit my hubby in august as its our anniversary :) thinking about that makes me happy that I will be there with him for even a month .
You actually have a good chance to get TRV because you have a solid reason to invite him to visit you for the anniversary. Give it a try.

Really ? Cause some senior members in the forum were saying that we need to show proof of ties to country back home . Example work , property etc

My wife just got 1 year multiple entry last week and she don't have any property or job etc. Reason I'm saying that you have good chance is because somebody got TRV for the anniversary just couples of weeks ago in NDVO forum.

Oh that's great news for you ! Are u also an october applicant ? I actually didnt realize or gave a thoughy about TRV , I already booked my flight ticket to india last month :( hopefully everything will go smooth.
How long can the spouse stay in canada once they receive TRV ?

Thinking of you Ottawa guys, everything seems to have slowed there significantly.

It has all but stopped seemingly. The rest of us waiting until the end of time should all mail cpc-o and just bombard them with letters asking What's taking so long because our lives are hanging in the balance here. Maybe Usk be a little more urgent. I think they probably took the majority of the workforce off family sponsorship and put them to work the foreign worker and expressentry cases because they're promoting the hell out of that now on Facebook. Because Where else are they getting all these people from to work those cases?

I agree with that theory... It also coincides with the easy straight forward applications suddenly being processed quickly in Mississauga. It now shows they knew the first part of the year was going to come to screeching halt in Ottawa for family sponsorship so they could focus on the express entry. It would be nice if Ottawa would send some of their workload back to Mississauga. They're insanely fast on issuing the CoPR's, when they have the opportunity to do it ;D

Congrats :)

It makes me happy seeing all these good news coz our turn is just around the corner ;)

I called cic and they said they have no information once it's gone to the visa office. They said I would have to contact NDVO regarding that . I haven't yet ordered for the notes cause someone said its early to order for notes as iam only an October applicant and they might have not even looked through my file . Some said to wait for 4 months and then order. I don't know what to do :(

:)
