October 2013 Citizenship Applications

Hi forum members,

When does the checking of an application by the CIC to verify if its all complete take place? Is it immediately after your application is received or at some point later...meaning your application will be somewhere on the table awaiting to be checked?AnY clues? I am worried about my situation...its almost 3 months no signs of anything.

right now, october 2013 applications are in process.. as per CIC

The CIC.GC.CA isn't working to check our application status,

Don't worry and call the Call Center on 1888-242-2100 if you feel that you have any urgent questions

Oct13, we have two things in common. .....1) Your username 'oct13' has the same format as mine 'sept15' .....2) your citizenship application and mine were received on the same day 'October 24, 2013'. Was your application signed by Mike Conn as well.

Glad to know they are opening Oct 21 applications.

Later,

Mine is updated today.
Received: 24 October 2013.
Sent the letter and the book: 24 October 2013.
Started processing: 23 Jan 2014.

It only appeared online today the 27th.

I am posting this here since I am an October applicant, and I want to see how other October applicants understand the processing time. With all the talks about the lengthy application processing time, is there any change to make it shorter than the 25 months recorded on the CIC website?
Any ideas/thoughts?

Received: 24 October 2013.
Sent the letter and the book: 24 October 2013.
Started processing: 23 Jan 2014.

It only appeared online today the 27th.

Seems CIC got slowed again!

My Ecas is now updated. It shows the receiving date & the date with which processing of the app commenced. Pheeeew I am now relaxed after having regular mailed my application.!!!

Since I am new to this forum, I am still not familiar with it. I found different threads with different timelines. The threads of Dec/Jan 2013, May 2013 and July 2013 show that some applicants have had their Oaths! This is for me surprising!

Is there a thread for 2013 applicants?
Is there an excel file that shows all 2013 applicants and possibly some of 2012 applicants?

Has the processing time reduced?
