OCT2017 Brampton Citizenship applicants

Got email from IRCC. Found email in the spam email today. Test invite was sent July 24, 2018 for test invite on August 21, 2018 in Scarborough. Those still waiting, you will eventually get your test invite. Just hang in there. Like the song goes, "Waiting is the hardest part."

With the recent Brampton applicants getting their test invites, the number of Brampton applicants still waiting for test invite including one waiting to be rescheduled is down to 16.

My application has been In Process state since Nov 22nd 2017. There has been no movement at all. No correspondence. Wondering if I should contact my Local MP and request him to follow up on my Citizenship Application?

Yes contact your local MP, no harm in that. I actually emailed them as well and by the time they looked into it and got back received my test invite.

Im in process since November 23rd, 2017.
Im just being patient. Hopefully we get a test invite soon...

Hi All,

Finished test yesterday, status updated to DM made today.
Also for Oath they told the same thing, as it need to complete within an year it will mostly be in first week of October since application date is Oct16

As mentioned to your other post. There is no hard and fast rule that the process must be completed within a year. The online processing time is only an estimate based on 80% of past completed applications. While the goal is to get your application done within a year, they are not obligated to meet that end. However so far none of the October applicants that has waited longer than 365 days yet. That is a good sign that is in our favour that our process will likely be completed within a year.

LOL, True that. However the average completed processed time so far is 227 days. That's 7.5 months, far below the 12 month mark..

Congrats. We have the same day oath as well but we are in the morning session at 9am.
