I just received the date for the test (14 days before test).

Update is done in ecas with the scheduled date and time. The letter arrives the same day or a day later.

Have you received email or it was on e-cas? Do you know the visa office sending the test invite?

It was on e-cas, not in the email.

Mississauga Office.
 
Just an update. No change in the status as of today, still in process. We called CIC to enquire on the application, specifically if they have received the fingerprint request. The response was the fingerprint were received, background check done and passed. Next step is to schedule a test invite. They are actively working on it and will let us know once it is scheduled.
 
@screech339 i received the same message, in line to be invited for test

But I dont know when lol :)
 
Test Done yesterday; was damn easy.
Officer told that we will be getting letter for our Oath Ceremony soon.......The process was quick.
7:45 - test scheduled at mississauga office
8:00 - test started
8:15 - Test finished
9:10 - Called for interview
9:20 - Interview completed.
Today - Decision Made

  3. We started processing your application on January 9, 2018.
  4. We sent you a notice on May 18, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on June 11, 2018 at 7:45 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
