I called the Immigration department today also, but they didn't transfer my call to a human because of apparent high call volume
i haven't called yet but plan to call soon, also i think the best time is early in the morning between 830-930
its going to be 3 months after IP soon, so hopefully we all see some traction

I called CIC last week. Not much info. Just the regular 'Your application is in transit (since Nov 23) to Mississauga office. Background check is complete in Sydney, but Mississauga may do another background check.'
I also called yesterday.
Again, not much info..... your application has been sent to the local office and they will contact you if they need information or to invite you for the test.
Only thing I can do is wait.
Almost 5 months in process. But no test invite. Mississauga/ Brampton applications are not progressing at all.
It's selective progress, some applicants are getting through while others aren't. I'm 4 months IP, It's starting to get irritating.
My Application has been in process since Nov 22nd and haven't heard anything so far.

Hi All,
Starting this thread for people who applied from Brampton for citizenship post c-6 in month of october 2017
The reason for starting this individual thread is that it seems Brampton seems to be the slowest compared to all locations and so really cant seem to know the processing times.
Till now 2 from Brampton seemed to have received test invites and hopefully all of us with IP between Dec1-20 get our invites within the week

Added you to October sheet of global 2017 spreadsheet. Link is in my signature.
It seems like files for Brampton applicants are being processed at Scarborough or Mississauga office.
Scarborough office is quick with sending test invites, however Mississauga seems to be more efficient at scheduling Oath ceremonies.
I would be curious to know if someone received Test invite from one centre and Oath from another one...
