Hi Friends,

I am October applicant and did my medical 2 weeks before. I was having Latent (inactive TB) and I declared during medical.
Doctor asked a letter from Family doctor and i hv given it.

Still I don't receive any communication from CIC. ECAS is showning in process.
Please help me. Will be there any problem with PR because of my Latent TB?
Please advise.

Are you applying PR from India?.. Your medical status will not be updated until and unless the status is changed to "decision made" for the applicants applied thr PR outside Canada.
What are your time lines....
I have notified CIC with my medicals on Apr 26 and still I haven't seen any change in the status...
Please go through this link:

Thanks for reply friend,

I have applied from Ontario Canada, I am working on WP here.

Any idea about PR for Latent TB?
Thanks

I don't think you will be declared inadmissible, but they may ask you for more test and could put you under medical surveillance after arriving in Canada. I found this information from here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t167981.0.html;msg2637173#msg2637173

Hope that helps~

Medical uploaded on 11th May, Ecas still hasn't changed to medical received and no passport request as well, people who did medical one week after me, already got ppr, so frustrating, this wait is taking a toll on my sleep, my work.....! Especially, when you see that people who applied after you, got AOR after you, did medical after you, but already got their PPR, and you're still waiting.............. :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

I really hope I get PPR after this long weekend.......!

You can pay RPRF anytime you want (some applicants are paying RPRF when submitting PR applications), so I wouldn't call it upfront.

ECAS Status Updated:

Waiting for PPR.......
