Hi Folks,

I have been trying o figure out a tentative time frame for the further action (which I think should be either additional supporting document or/and request for medical exam) after receiving AOR. I have studied some of the spreadsheets however I'm not able to draw out any concrete conclusions.
My work permit had expired before I could send out a complete application package thus I had to return back to my home country. I couldn't apply for my BOWP and now I am trying to figure out tentatively when can I come back provided a positive decision has been made on my case?
As it is a tough choice for me to take up a temp employment since I am in between my immigration procedure.

Thanks.

P.S. My details are in spreadsheet.

Hi.. Finally got my AOR. I am trying to apply BOWP.. I need some help
1) I am trying to apply in online. One of the question is
How long are you planning to stay in Canada? Options given are a) "Temporarily Less than 6 months" b) "Temporarily Greater Than 6 months" C) Permanently

what should I select.

2) My wife is working here under her own work permit. Can I include her to get BOWP?. Does she has to apply separately?

AOR received 27 Nov 2013.. spreadsheet updated.

While waiting for my AoR during the past few days, I have been going through various topics to read people's experiences and understand potential issues with my applications.
One thing that has stood out as very important is the reference letter and any supporting evidence documents. To be specific, one of the issues has been the reference letter not clearly mentioning the roles performed.

Some people have rightly submitted explanations in case their reference letters being like this, lack of which has resulted in applications being rejected. At the same time some people have been lucky enough with their applcations not being rejected, but further supporting documents asked for by the VO.

I am one of those people whose reference letter does not detail the roles performed as the company has a standard format and they will provide only that. I did not submit any explanation and am now anxiously awaiting the outcome of this.

I have read in other discussions that appealing a rejection is not quite fruitful. So instead of waiting for a potential rejection, I am planning to do this: (and would like to know what others in the forum think of it)

I plan to write to my VO immediately mentioning that I missed submitting the explanation and am sending it to them now. With this email I plan to attach explanations and other supporting documents.

Please let me know your views on this plan of action.
Thanks

Check out this thread as this member is also planning to send reference letter after receiving AOR
Received my aor 2 months back, but now want to submit employee letter

Thanks 'iamroth'

I shall send across the mail hoping for the best then.

Incidentally, I did come across that thread after posting my query, but my concern was that although he did not submit roles and responsibilities, he may have provided an explanation for it, which I missed. I shall anyway check with him separately and share.

Hi Guys,

It seems there is nothing much happening from last 2 days...
Are we seeing any of those AOR emails coming through in your inbox?
