Thanks toby. do you have an idea what the requirements are? I left my job last sept and still looking for a job. I heard one of the requirements is a job offer from an employer. Is that true?

No, it's an open work permit and no job offer required.
Requirements can be found here:

This entire forum is out of control!

I can't even keep up with reading unread posts anymore. It's such a pain
to answer question that' clearly are dumb and could be answered by simply
reading the document checklist and instruction guide, or fricking using the search function.

Ha ha LOL

Not as annoying as the 'oh does my NOC not count no more after 8th November ?!' When they blatantly know the answer already!

Complete tardness LoL

just out of curiosity, did everyone here register their application package when mailing it to CIO and that is why everyone knows the received date?

Usually you get a tracking number when you use CanadaPost Xpress or Priority.

bun, people used tracking numbers.

and the most important:

we will see first AORs this week, right?

No one will be able to tell you when you get the AOR, so calm down and wait. Like everyone else.
We're yet to receive AORs for applications received by CIO in September. Once all September applicants
have received the AOR, it's your turn.

if you are planning on being unpleasant, I suggest remaining in September thread.

we do track progress and we are hoping to receive first AORs this week whether you like it or not.

I believe the AOR time is trending down and we might see AOR within less than 45 days.

You might, but we don't. Last AOR received today took 49 days again. Average is still 53, so it's nowhere close
to 45 days. I don't mean to be unpleasant, I'm simply realistic and see things how they are and not how I want
them to be.

You haven't been here for a long time, so I'd suggest to simply lean back and learn. No offense!

Another applicant for October 2013......

Cheers and hope everyone get AOR soon.... :)

I am sorry but I am new to this forum.
