what is your citizenship?

for the October spreadsheet. Everyone please doublecheck your data especially passport request date. Some of the information is misleading. Someone tried to sort the column. Later on people overwrote partly the wrong data with correct one.

Hi Folks, As I said, something had to happen on Friday, and it did. Got my ppr today, actually yesterday close to midnight. Sent the passports to Ottawa today. Into the last round of waiting hopefully. I am sure ppr is around the corner for others and this waiting will come to an end soon.

Congrats! I believe you should get the ppr anytime now. For me it is the other way around. I got my PPR but application status is still "In process". Not sure how they update the status :

Thanks mate. I am in the same boat. Still in process, no change to ECAS. So we'll see. I have put a deadline for myself which is June 20th. Hope I get it before that.

you are visa exempt. cic do not need your passport.
you will find a decision directly in your mailbox.
usually they send it closely to the date of ecas status change.

Hey guys!!! My partner got her Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CPR) today! However, under the application details, it says "valid to" sometime in 2015. I've read the paper about 6 times, and it appears to me that it means that she has to LAND by that date. She's worried that's how long her PR will be valid for.

She's stressed, but I am ready to celebrate. Is there any chance she won't get the full 5 years for her PR at this point?

Let me know if we need to be opening tons of beers, or tons of phone numbers for immigration lawyers!

Thanks! I see your application received date is 1st Oct 2013 which is a few weeks earlier than mine. Going by that, I think your ppr should come before 19th. Hope it comes next week, all the best!
