It depends on your location as well as current processing time. If you are in west coast like me, expect 3 days to a week longer just because of the mail travel time.

We don't have enough datas in October group to estimate how long it will take. But it seems 10 days would be the current trend...
Thanks a lot.Is the PR visa okay to travel to my home country in Africa and land on my way back?

Yes, it's completely OK to travel out of Canada and land on your way back.

lots as in the spreasheet.
This last step is the ongest, hehe
And certainly there are other applicants whose information wasn't on the spreadsheet, or did not come to this forum in the first place :)

I am still waiting for my PPR.. It's almost a month tht I have notified CEC with medicals...
I have applied outside Canada....
RPRF &medicals done same time.....(aprl 24th)
Really frustrating .... My attorney says not to be worried as this process after medicals will take a month...
But I have seen lot of ppl (in this forum) recieved thr PPR with In a week or two...
I guess there is no proper strategy/ process CIC will follow..

Does any one knows the reason why OCT 13 applicants are delayed or. Any other comments on my note....

I am in the same boat as you are. General opinion is that PPR takes 2 to 3 weeks after medicals are uploaded. But I see that it is also related to the application filed date.

Just wanted to clarify one thing, when you say you notified CEC with medicals, did you email them saying that you completed the medicals on so and so date? I thought we just had to complete the tests, and the rest will be taken care by the DMP. Just wanted to make sure I am not missing anything. And also, do you mind sharing your timeline.

Hi Toby,

Received my PPR on 23-May. Tomorrow Will send the change of stamping location request to Ottawa.
CIC Oct 2013 sheet updated.

Thanks
Cheers

A couple of days after I emailed them to inform that I have performed medical exam @ PP with X date, medical result was uploaded on Y date, as well as paid RPRF fees and sent receipt on Z date, my ECAS status was updated to "Medical Received", and a day after that I got the passport request.

I am not sure if there is any correlations between that update email and faster progression that I had, but I don't see any harm sending such emails to them. Maybe it could work well for you? Make sure to ask for reply email to acknowledge receipt of information. You can use Toby's template from his website: http://cectoolkit.weebly.com/email-template.html

guys.
anyone encountered problems logging in to ecas just now?

Happens every now and then. Sometimes I get the message that they can't find information
about my application and 10 minutes later it works just fine.
Try again in a couple of minutes...

Request sent to CIC to change the Visa Stamping Location: 26-May-2014
Timelines updated at the left(profile).

I have one question for seniors, While doing my landing process, is it possible that i do my landing process say in July and my wife does that in Dec.?? So basically me and my wife wants to do this separately? So is this possible or is it mandatory that as she is dependent as per application, so she has to be with me while i do my landing process.

Appreciate your response.

Thanks
Cheers
