yes, I was there at 3 am in the morning of 23rd Sep and was 5th in the line when I reached center. So I was lucky as walk-in was able to submit my application as soon as the center opened and took all appointment people first and then walk-ins. I am assuming the wait time will be crazy now that every one is only applying for OCI.

yes, you cannot apply without surrender certificate, as it is one of the mandatory doc. Check the checklist while you wait. Also, make sure if you have spell different btw Canada and Indian passport then you need affidavit for each spell error. For instance, place of birth was spell diff way in my CAD passport vs India Passport they asked me to get affidavit to submit along with my application.

My timeline is below:
OCT APP SENT: October 4th
OCI APP Registered: October 12th
OCI status now: “Counter Delivery to BLS Centre after OCI stamping”
Can anyone help me with this? This has been the update since October 16th. What does this mean?
And i live in Saskatchewan and sent this file as postal to surrey, will i get my package back in mail as well?

Hello,
I sent my daughter application through postal on 11 oct and it was delivered in brampton bls on 14 oct after that on bls website there were showing no record found. On 20th oct it was updated under process and then after 2 days processing at consulate and since then status is same no update and no ack email received yet for track on oci website. I was trying with ref no start with CANT and putting passport no but it's still shows no record found. Please help is this normal process or i should worry about it?

Hello, I am planning to send my son's OCI application to brampton BLS by mail. when I try to book a pickup and drop off appointment via purolator it shows 90 CAD. pickup , express and drop off ( 30 dollars each). Is that correct? should not it be only 2 way and be only 60 CAD plus fee??
