Obtaining state background checks from in Canada

This is probably a long shot, but does anyone know how to obtain STATE background checks from in Canada?

We were just asked for Delaware/Maryland state background checks

You have to look and see what the rules are for Maryland. Whether or not they will accept your prints from abroad and run the file. It's rare that they want state clearance when they have FIB clearance. Do you have a record?

Dismissed dui. It was not on fbi pcc though. I think they are just making sure it is dismissed like when claimed on the schedule A

Yes. That would not show up on an FBI search. You will absolutely need to ensure that was dismissed because if it was not, then it becomes a 'rehabilitation' thing, which is a PITA from what I've seen here.

I would go to the Delaware state police website and see what they recommend for fingerprints. Most, if not all states accept the same card as the FBI for printing, but they are usually faster.

We are driving down this weekend to take care of it. We went to be sure it is done properly

My husband had to send background checks for Michigan and Missouri. He simply emailed the state police for both states and they emailed the information back the next day. It was very quick and easy. He didn't need to do the fingerprinting again.

We have called both Delaware and Maryland state police and it seems impossible to do it without actually going down

We are looking for Missouri background checks for my husband. Who did you email and what did you ask? Was it just a named based search or fingerprint based. My husband has a minor charge of underage drinking and then I dismissed charge from a fight. Both are from years ago. 2010 and 2011 he was 18 and 19.
