I am now waiting for my citizen exam in couple of weeks . I heard that now its obligatory to meet a citizen judge and show him proof of stay so he can approve my citizenship and proceed to the oath ceremony .
Did anyone hear of this new rule ?
Thanks

Hi Wissamd,

I did not ear anything about that rule, the day you go to your test you will have an interview whit a person of CIC (no a judge) You have to show to that person all your documents, after that you will give your test and then if you pass it you have to wait 4 or 6 months and they will send you a letter to go to the ceremony, the time dependents of the province, if you do not pass the test you will have an interview with a judge.

I hope this information help you.

Good luck.
